Welcome to Our Office

Welcome to Oakdale Pediatrics. We are pleased that you have chosen our practice as your child's medical home. We serve the children and their families in Oakdale, Riverbank, Escalon, Waterford, Sonora and several other communities here in the Central Valley. Our physicians and staff strive to maintain open lines of communication and work as a team with your family to provide excellent pediatric care in a comforting environment. We take tremendous pride in the care we provide and look forward to working with you and your family.

Appointments

Oakdale Pediatrics is accepting new patients. With the recent addition of Florin Vlasie, M.D. with Krystyna Belski, M.D., our office is able to accommodate the growing need in our community for quality pediatric care. Dr. Belski and Dr. Vlasie both carry pagers and share calls which provides 24/7 access to your pediatricians if an emergency arises. Both physicians serve on the medical at Oak Valley Hospital in Oakdale and Memorial Hospital and Doctors Hospital in Modesto. All patients are seen by appointment and if possible, our staff will try to accomodate patients on the same day that they call. Well exams, sport exams, consultations follow up appointments are done during regular office hours Monday through Friday. The staff will do its best to accomodate sick visits as soon as possible.

We firmly believe each patient should be treated as if they were the doctor's own child; a philosophy Dr.Vlasie and Dr. Belski value above all else. They are exceptional at providing genuine care and concern for each patient they encounter. In their view, every child�is born with�the right to be happy. You will notice this in every aspect of our practice; we are committed to our community.

Education

Dr. Belski graduated from the prestigious Warsaw Medical Academy in her homeland of Poland. In addition, she completed a Residency in Ophthalmology and worked in this field for several years. In 1983, she came to the United States and completed a Pediatric Residency at the University of California, San Fransisco's Valley Medical Center. Upon completing board certification with The American Board of Pediatrics in 1990, she began her current practice in Oakdale and has resided in the community ever since.

Personal

Dr. Belski was born and raised in Poland and enjoys going back as time permits. She loves to travel internationally and experience new places and cultures. When in the office, you will notice all the beautiful pictures of animals taken from a recent trip to Africa. When she is not caring for your children, she also loves to work in her yard and has created a beautiful rose garden which she takes great pleasure and satisfaction from. Dr. Belski is also known for a love of reading and being in the outdoors - especially hiking and exploring nature. She and her husband have two children, Margaret and Marek, and have been married for 30 years.

Education

Dr. Vlasie graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Gr. T. Popa" in Iasi, Romania. Following, he did an ENT Residency in Romania and worked several years as a Pediatric ENT Specialist in Galati, his native town in Romania. He came to the United States in 2000 and did his Pediatric Residency at Lincoln Medical Center, which is affiliated with the Cornell University in New York City. During his residency he also proudly became an American Citizen. He joined Dr. Belski's practice in January of 2008 and has since been working in Oakdale Pediatrics.  In October 2008 he passed the American Board of Pediatrics examination and is a Board Certified Pediatrician.

Personal

Dr. Vlasie has a great love for the outdoors. He had many opportunities, but chose Oakdale for the community, the opportunity to work with Dr. Belski and the close proximity to so much natural beauty. He has quickly made Yosemite, the Sierras and Lake Tahoe his favorite places to relax. He is an avid fan of classical music and plays the violin. In addition to English and his native Romanian, Dr. Vlasie also speaks French and Spanish.

Office visits are by appointment. For a sick visit please call early in the day and we will try to schedule an appointment for the same day. If you cannot keep your appointment, please call the office as soon as possible to reschedule.

Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 8 am - 12:30 pm, 2 pm - 5 pm
Wednesday-Thursday: 10 am - 12:30 pm, 2 pm - 6:30 pm

After office hours you may reach Dr. Belski or Dr. Vlasie by calling 848-8133 for urgent medical advice. Both physicians carry pagers 24/7 in case of emergencies or concerns and understand the importance of being accessible for their patients.

Fees and Insurance

Our fees are based on the customary charges for this area. We bill most insurance plans. Co-payment is required at the time of service. Our office manager can help in chooseing the health plan right for you.
